Cabinet Vision is a suite of design software tools used in the cabinet and joinery making industries.


Empower provides a wizard that allows Job data to be imported from Cabinet Vision files.  Using the wizard can help in reducing potential data entry errors.


To start the wizard


Step 1. From the Main Management Menu go to Tools > Import Jobs > From Cabinet Vision. 


You should see a page similar to


       
 

 
Click on the Choose File Button (highlighted above) and navigate to the file in your Cabinet Vision folder called report.mdb.  


Then click on the green Import Jobs button.  This will load the Job on the page - you should see a page similar to

  


Now click on the Next button (highlighted above).




Step 2.  You should see a page similar to


 
Click on the Choose File Button (highlighted above) and navigate to the file in your Cabinet Vision folder called BidData.mdb.  


Then click on the green Import Products button.  This will load the Processes on the page (see highlighted below)


 
   
Now click on the Next button (see highlighted above).  



Step 3.   You should see a page similar to Click on the green Import button (see highlighted below)


 

Click on the green Import button (see highlighted above).


You should see the message Job imported successfully in Empower (highlighted above).


Step 4 Finally you should be able to view the imported Job by selecting (from the Main Management Menu) Job > View Job > Undispatched Jobs and then select the Job number (see an example below).
