Adding a PO to Xero
Empower can automatically add a Purchase Order to Xero when creating an Empower Purchase Order.
1. To do this, first ensure Empower is connected to Xero - for more information see Connecting to Xero.
You should see the following page. Note the highlighted connection to Xero message.
2. In Empower, create a Purchase Order in the normal manner - for more information, see New Purchase Order.
Once created, a draft Purchase Order will automatically be created in Xero.
A message will be displayed on the new Purchase Order page (see highlighted below)
3. Once a Purchase Order is raised in Xero (from within Empower) and provided you are connected to Xero, then the Xero Purchase Order number and the date the Purchase Order was raised in Xero will be visible in the Purchase Order > Edit page - see highlighted below.
