1. An unlimited number of notes can be added to a Job. These are able to be viewed in both the Management and Factory versions.
2. To provide a record over time, once added they can not be edited or deleted.
3. To add or view Job Notes, from the Main Management Menu go to Job > Edit or Job > View.
You should see a page similar to
Click on either Undispatched Jobs, Dispatched Jobs or All Jobs (note that Undispatched Jobs will usually be fastest).
Search for the Job Number from the drop down list. You should see a page similar to
Click on Job Notes (highlighted above). You should see a page similar to
Enter the Job Note and click on Add. There is no limit to the number of notes that can be added. Scroll down to close the Job notes page
4. To view Job Notes in the Factory version it firstly needs to be enabled.
To do this, in the Management version's main menu, select Tools > Settings. Ensure that the Time Sheet tab is selected (highlighted below) and then click on Advanced (highlighted below)
Ensure that Show Job Notes is switched on (see below)
Now in the Factory version Job Notes are able to be displayed by clicking on Notes (see highlighted below). These notes can only be displayed - i.e. can not be edited or added to from the Factory version.
This will display a page with three tabs, Task Notes for the selected Task, Job Notes for the Job and all Task notes for all Tasks for that Job.
