New Quote

An Easy Quote is a Quote that can be quickly created with a Description of the items being quoted - to create an Easy Quote see Easy Quote.

This part of the help system shows how to create more complex Quotes with individual cost lines.

To do this

1.  Make sure you have set up a Quote Template - see Set Up Quote Template.   A Quote Template is a predefined format for a Quote.

A Quote Template allows

    - Products (effectively this is labor)

    - Materials

    - Additional Costs

    - and the markups for these

    - and the order that these are to be displayed

    - and whether these should be visible or not in the Client's copy of the Quote

to be quickly retrieved, ensuring consistent formatting of Quotes.

2. Make sure you have the appropriate costs set up.  Costs can be labor related costs (use a Product for these), Material related costs or some other cost (use Additional Costs for these).

     -  see Set Up Products on how to set up Products and labor related costs

     -  see Set Up Suppliers on how to set up Materials and Material costs

     -  see Set Up Additional Costs on how to set up Additional (non labor or non Material costs)

3.  From the main menu select Quote > New Quote.  You should see a page similar to
